"Country Boys" follows the lives of two young men at David. It will be viewed as a group as we prepare for our trip to Kentucky!


Hello everyone!

As we prepare for our Spring 2009 trip to the David School in Floyd County Kentucky, there will be meetings comprised of a teambuilding session, historical background seminar, and a film series. The film is 6 hours long and we will be breaking it up to make it a little easier to digest the information. The film is titled Country Boys and it follows the lives of two young men, living in Floyd County and attending The David School. The group film viewing series and reflections are a vital portion in our preparedness for the trip.

Since it works with everyone's schedules, our meetings will be held Thursday evenings in Raub 103 at 7:00 p.m. It is my goal to watch the film in completion before our winter break. In late January-early February we will participate in the histrorical background seminar and hold a teambuilding session.

I hope this will be an eye-opening and educational experience for each one of you. I look forward to traveling and serving with you all!
