Make it Green - Act Locally for Global Change
Lock Haven University is participating in "Focus the Nation", a national movement to address global warming. On January 31st, universities, colleges and businesses all over the nation are holding an educational symposium of workshops and panels to brainstorm global warming solutions. The University is showing Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth", followed by a discussion forum afterwards which will focus on fighting global warming on local levels.
The trailer below is a preview of the popular film 'An Inconvenient Truth'. This video will be shown in The Hall of Flags in Robinson at 7:00 p.m.
Join us in the Hall of Flags at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st and be a part of the collaborative efforts of students and faculty working together to make local changes to fight global warming.
In an effort to maintain an ongoing discussion of global warming, you are invited to continue in the Discussion Thread below.
