Global Service Learning
In March 2012, MountainServe will sponsor Alternative Spring Break Global Service- Learning Programs. We offer domestic as well as international programs.
**Spring Break trips have been filled for this year**
Location: Camp Victor-Ocean Springs, Mississippi
Dates: March 10-March 19, 2012
Approximate Cost: $320/per person
Space Available: 20 students
Description: Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, housing is still a critical ongoing concern and the focus has become the renovation and building of homes. Volunteer work crews rebuild homes, clean up, and restore the beauty of the Gulf Coast. LHU has been serving the Gulf Coast since 2005.
Location: Sahara Desert, Morocco
Dates: March 10-March 19, 2012
Cost: $2,315/per person
Space Available: Currently Unlimited
Description: Students will teach English, mentor youth, and provide clinical health care to villages in the Moroccan Sahara, while living in village homes.
