Clinton County Independent Living is a program that is offered through Children and Youth services and funded by the Chaffee grant. We service youth ages 16-21 that are aging out of foster care. Our goal is to assist them in areas including but not limited too; life skills, job readiness, educational support, and housing. Our philosophy is to enrich our youth through providing them with the tools to empower themselves. This means anything from assisting them in accepting their personal limitations and recognizing their strengths, to assisting them in following through with an apartment search and becoming aware of different community resources.
