Students from Zacatecas, Mexico taking classes at LHU over the summer participated in a service project...check out the video below!!!
Starting in 2006, Clinton County CleanScapes of Clinton County has secured 2 grants totaling $11,000.00 to remove man-made debris in the West Branch Susquehanna River over a 2 year period. If you find a site in Lycoming or Clinton Co. - floodplain or in the river itself, please contact me so I can add it to the cleanup list.
Progress Report 2000-2008 ¤ Volunteer & contractor cleanup events: 66 ¤ Community members that have joined CCC events: 1,142 ¤ Man-made debris removed from our area: 831 tons (1,745,100 lbs.) ¤ Discarded tires collected & recycled: 4,611 ¤ Metal collected & recycled: 17 tons (36,036 lbs.)

¤ Aug. 16 – 2nd Annual Pine Creek & West Branch Susquehanna River Cleanup, Jersey Shore, Clinton & Lycoming Counties
