Starting in 2006, Clinton County CleanScapes of Clinton County has secured 2 grants totaling $11,000.00 to remove man-made debris in the West Branch Susquehanna River over a 2 year period. If you find a site in Lycoming or Clinton Co. - floodplain or in the river itself, please contact me so I can add it to the cleanup list.July 18 Woodward Twp., Clinton Co.
Join CCC, Sunken Treasure Scuba Center, & Lock Haven’s Citizens Hose Fire/Water Rescue Company No. 5 for the 6th Annual West Branch Susquehanna River & Roadway cleanup event! Hikers will remove debris from Farrandsville Road while paddlers & divers will remove man-made debris from the river. Ability to know how to swim is mandatory.
